Improving Skin Elasticity and Moisture
In a second double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study, 69 women aged 35–55 years consumed VERISOL® bioactive collagen peptides daily for 8 weeks.
Researchers evaluated several markers of skin health, including:
- Skin elasticity
- Skin moisture (hydration)
- Transepidermal water loss (TEWL)
- Skin roughness
Results showed:
- Statistically significant improvements in skin elasticity compared with placebo
- Improved skin hydration and moisture retention
- Reduced transepidermal water loss, indicating enhanced skin barrier function
- Improvements in skin elasticity maintained for up to 4 weeks after supplementation stopped
These findings suggest that specific bioactive collagen peptides can support skin elasticity, hydration, and overall skin barrier function from within.

Directions and Use
Pura Collagen Glow+ is a convenient, unflavoured collagen powder for skin and hair designed to make getting your full daily dose of collagen easy.
