24 Week Study in Active Individuals (Clark et al., 2008) 

In a randomised, double blind, placebo-controlled study, athletes with activity related joint pain who supplemented with collagen hydrolysate for 24 weeks experienced statistically significant reductions in joint pain compared with placebo. Improvements were observed in pain at rest, walking, standing, lifting and carrying objects. In participants reporting knee discomfort, the improvements were more pronounced.

Cartilage Composition Study in Mild Knee Osteoarthritis (McAlindon et al., 2011)
