Collagen mince pies 🎄
Ingredients
– Shortcrust pastry
– 200g Mincemeat
– Add your preferred amount of flex+/glow+
Method
1) Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2) Grease your shallow cupcake tins with butter.
3) Cut your shortcrust pastry with a cutter into circles.
4) Place a circle of the pastry into the cupcake tray and gently press down to create a cave for the mince mixture to sit.
5) Mix the collagen and mincemeat mixture together until combined.
6) Add a tsp of the mincemeat mixture to the pastry in the cupcake tray and top with another circle of the pastry. Repeat until you have formed 12 pies.
7) Glaze the pies with a very thin layer of milk or egg.
8) Bake for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
9) Wait for the pies before dusting with icing sugar and serving.
